We started this private bird photography excursion at Marais de Sionnet right before sunrise. Our first good sight was this beautiful Black Kite. 3 hours later, we have seen 45 bird species including rarities such as a Purple Heron, a Black-crowned Night-heron, a Sedge Warbler, a Wood Sandpiper, a Little Owl, etc.. Marais de Sionnet is a fantastic place, both for the diversity of species and the quality of the encounters. Staying on the path, you can see many birds much closer than anywhere else. We had fantastic photo opportunities once again.

It was a sunny joyful morning.
