Highest ethics
For us, ethics is far more than a word, it is our culture - our way of being and acting. In the field, we apply the highest ethics you can find when it comes to approaching and photographing wild animals. No bait, no calls, no set up… we do not do anything that could purposely disturb wildlife or negatively impact their habitat. We are simple witnesses and let the scenes unfold in front of our astonished eyes.
Outside the field, our ethics apply as we actively do our part to protecting wildlife and limiting our daily impact as a company. We limit our consumption of resources, support people and organizations that stand for conservation of nature, and maintain a low carbon footprint.
Conservation responsible tourism
We are at the forefront of responsible tourism. Right off the start, we give 10% of all our tours' profit to our wildlife conservation organization.
During the tours, we support local communities and businesses by always doing our best to book small bnb's and hotels and dining at small, local restaurants. This way most of the money spent in situ is directed to locals. We love this interaction to share our vision and ideas with them and to try to help them improve their ways whenever possible.
We also dedicate time to the youth to help foster a love for their natural world. We regularly organize free naturalist excursions for kids up to eighteen years old and we love it. We are hopeful that these excursions provide the kids with opportunities to become more aware of the beauty and challenges the natural world faces.
And lastly, we have created the Salva Fauna Conservation Fund, with the goal to safeguard natural spaces and protect biodiversity.
