Gaspésie Wildlife Road Trip / Tour September 2019
Being the first widlife photo tour we organized on another continent, our Gaspésie Wildlife Tour was a real test for us. That’s why we limited the number of participants even more. Guided by Thibaut and Jonathan, this tour to Quebec, to the East of Canada, was a real success! 10 days of pure happiness exploring these sublime territories, often wild, where the wildlife is extraordinary.
Land, sea and sky, we were able to admire the wonders of the local fauna at all levels, in all elements. Moose, White-tailed deer, Bald eagles, Porcupines, Humpback whales, Northern Gannets, Warblers, Canada Jays, Grey seals, Spruce Grouse, etc. The encounters were numerous and of very often of extraordinary quality. Indeed, animals tolerate our presence much better than in Europe. Thus, we could observe a Moose or a White-tailed Deer at 10 meters, a Porcupine or the Northern Gannets at 2 meters, etc. All with full respect for animals and their habitat. Sometimes it is even the animal that comes to see us, as it was the case with the Canada Jays.
The proximity, diversity, and beauty of the environment fascinated our participants. During this wildlife photo tour to the Gaspé Peninsula in Quebec, we were able to observe many mammals and over 130 species of birds!
So, rather than offering you a day-to-day story, we are sharing with you a video of the trip, followed by a selection of our best encounters. Let the images speak.
As you can see, the diversity of species encountered is exceptional. The ecosystems we explore during this nature photo tour in Canada are breathtaking. Our participants had a memorable experience, and that is what counts the most for us.
Join us for our next Gaspésie Wildlife Road Trip! It would be a great pleasure to guide you. :D
