Alentejo Birding Trail / Rota de Observação de Aves
The Alentejo Birding Trail (Rota de Observação de Aves) is a new birdwatching route that has been created to help birders from all over the world come and enjoy the greatest birding hotspots of Baixo Alentejo. That includes for now the councils of Castro Verde, Mértola and Serpa. Whether you come birding in Portugal with or without a birding guide, this is a great addition to the portuguese birdwatching infrastructures. We are very happy to have been part of this project, helping determine which hotspots should part of the route.
